What is this thing called experience?

All of us encounters experiences everyday. Another day, another experience. Experience is a kind of learning that allows us to pass through some life's stopovers. In order for us to gain experience, we must encounter some challenges. What must we do in this challenges? That is the test. Challenges makes us think what would be our way to solve the problem, and after that, the person will gain experience. What is the advantage of this thing called experience? There are many advantages, First is that if you have encountered the same challenge again, then do what you have done on that same challenge before. Another is to gain some learning's and share it to everyone else, so that the others will know what to do if that challenge happens to them also. Experiences is one of the things that makes the world go round and makes people to learn, to hone and to practice. But why do some people never learn from their experiences? Why do they still doing what's wrong, even though they know that the particular thing that they're doing was wrong? Why do they never learn? Do they lack in experience? Or maybe they just don't want to learn?
I have realized that experiences may save our lives from death. Death can be prevented if a certain people has enough knowledge and experience to defense or control himself or herself. There is nothing so easy to learn as experience and nothing so hard to apply. Humans like us are the highest kind of animal in this world, and God created us with feelings, emotions, and knowledge. As I have said earlier Experiences makes the world go round, who would have ever thought that a nurse will be a great servant in the country if she has no experience? Who would ever thought that a professor will be in such a great success if he doesn't learn from his own experience? That's it learn from your experiences and that will help you grow as a person.
I am a person that needs more experience so that I can solve my own challenges. That's why I am still studying so that I can gain some experience, and after I graduated, I have stepped another stepping stone, and maybe if that happens, I will have what it takes to have a successful life. How can I be successful? Of course by applying what I've learned and what I have experienced.
UST or University of Santo Tomas, Home of Thomasians, Thomas Aquinas is their patron Saint and my school, my University [ well I wish ! =) ]. It was one of the greatest Universities that I know and it is an honor to step the Thomasian grounds :) . UST is what you call an old campus, of course it is because it will be 400 years old this 2011. In 2011 I will be 19 yrs old so UST is 381 yrs older than me! Whoo even if I will be reincarnated so many times I will never get that old ^^. The thomasian campus is an example of structures in the past, because our hero [ Jose Rizal ] was a student here before and he was taking up medicine. I remember when I was in 4th yr. high school my teacher in Filipino says that Rizal's stay in UST was definitely unpleasant. Professors are bringing him down, classmates torturing him and even the guards of the campus are rude to him. Well I don't know why I came out telling Rizals stay here haha!!
Why am I inside the campus? Because there's an event called "Paskuhan" that US thomasians will celebrate together before Christmas or the birth of Jesus comes. The stage got some fancy and good looking costumes, cultural dances, and the voice of the narrator which is hard as a stone :) . The fields of UST are full of Thomasians together with their friends and hanging around in there. We are in that event, we sat on the fields and watch the presentation. It's so hard to see what's happening on the stage, good thing there are some screens to look at and watch there what's happenning in the stage. This is the first time I saw some leaves walking. If you look closely to the picture at the right, there are some leaves that I was talking about and they are hilarious haha.
After the dance has ended...,
The fireworks caught the attention of the Thomasians and me which is really a Thomasian [ haha I'm dreaming again ] . The fireworks was beautiful, eye catching and most of all it's colorful. The night sky was filled by beautiful lights of the fireworks. It was too long and that's why my back neck was aching but it's worth it. There's a picture of the fireworks there in the left. :) Although it's not the greatest fireworks that UST has but that thing surprises me and I said "WOW" because the combination of lights brings happiness to it's viewers. The fireworks display took 8 minutes and whew the back neck ache is worth it :).
Of course that is the time that all of my friends to do some picture picture. My batchmates loves to camwhore and while where at some kind of event like this, flashes of camera are turning on and off. Even though the others are doing something, they will run to where the designated spot where we will pose then they'll pose also like this picture in the right, you know it's like we were destined to be batchmates because we love to take pictures haha! Corny, I say.
While we were taking pictures of course with my batchmates there's something wrong and kinda unexplained thing in some of the pictures. Orbs have appearedas you can see in the picture ->. I have no idea what an orb is, but when my batchmate [ the girl in the picture ] says that the orbs in the picture represents or forms of spirits? [ or something like that ] Then of course I was surprised and I thought that maybe we were disturbing some spirits trying to rest in this place and we have no idea that in that particular place, there are orbs that floating, flying or maybe levitating there. My batchmate says that all of them are getting used to it. Most of their pictures has orbs and sometimes the orbs covers their faces [ ooh freaky I say! maybe the orb thinks it's prettier than my classmate so the orb tries to cover my batchmate's face haha :D ] .Who knows? UST is an old University and of course many students have studied here in the past [ yup I consider Jose Rizal as a Thomasian ] so come to think of it many students have died inside the campus or many students have died early.For me, the orbs was not really freaky, they just represent the past and one of the points that proves that this University has been existed in the past. That is so cool!
Back to the event, UST paskuhan was really fantastic! Not because it was MY school, not because it is a gathering of friends, you know, some kind of feeling that you don't explain and that feeling brings total happiness. That is wicked awesome! When i was in that University I'd never thought that I'll saw Bamboo [ you know the band :) ] and join the club [ you know another band :) ]. I am a person that is really not a band lover, but they make me feel alive together with my friends! They make me jump, scream, wave my hand, sing along with them. I don't know what kind of energy they have to command us but who cares Im enjoying it! :)
Being a part of this event, I'll say it's worth to come in this event. I really had fun =)
I have no idea why I am posting a post like this but I do really want to share what MY SCHOOLhas.[ just forgive me to be a Thomasian this day before I post this post haha! ]
Honestly, I don't know why I am doing some stuff like this. I don't even know what the word [blog]means. I know it's about stories of people and people who shares their own experiences then some people will have their own word about that story. It's like a conversation but your listeners are so far away from you.
Why am i doing such a thing like this? It's because I must do something new this year. Of course, everybody knows[friends]that I hate reading but this time, this year I'll try to love it. In order a particular person to grow, that person must try something new. As you can see I do really want to grow because I believe that I will use those something new today in the future someday.
After this post what am I going to do? Of course, read some others posts, post my realizations, try to realize some realizations, and hone my English grammar, haha my English sucks =)

I do believe what Ego says in the movie, so I am right here maybe I'll become one ofthe artist that Ego talks about, so I am right here honing, learning and maybe someday I'll be one of the people that is successful in life, then I'll say thanks to this very blog :) .
